Awaiting FINTRAC registration. Remit for good is not yet accepting transfers. Operations begin once our registration as a money services business is complete.
Remit for good is a mobile app for sending money abroad. Verify yourself once, save the people you send to, and every transfer after that takes under a minute, with the rate and fee shown before you approve.

The first transfer takes the longest, because that is when we verify you. After that the app already knows who you are and who you send to.
An email, a phone number and a password. You are in the app before any paperwork starts.
Photograph your ID in the app and confirm your details. This is the part the law requires, and it does not happen again.
Bank account, mobile wallet or cash pickup. Saved and checked, so next time you just pick a name.
See the rate and fee, approve, then track the transfer to delivery with a reference you can quote.
Everything that used to need a counter visit, minus the queue.
Enter an amount and see the fee, the rate and the exact figure arriving. The rate is held while you finish, so it cannot move underneath you.
Add someone once with their bank, wallet or pickup details. Repeat transfers become a name and an amount.
Every transfer carries a reference and a status you can open at any time, through to delivery.
Biometric or passcode entry, and a session that ends when you leave. Your documents stay encrypted.
The app is only useful if the money arrives the way they can actually take it.
Straight into an account, for recipients who bank normally. Account details are checked before the money moves.
For places where the phone is the account, which is most of them now. Usually the fastest route available.
Collected in person with identification, where an account is not an option. The name must match their ID exactly.
Moving money for other people is regulated work. Doing it in an app does not change the obligations, it just means you are not filling in forms at a counter.
Photo ID and your details, captured in the app and kept current rather than re-collected every time you send.
Sender and recipient are screened against sanctions and watchlists before a transfer leaves, not after.
Every transfer, its reference and its outcome stay in your history and in our records for the period required.
Photographed in the app during signup.
Recent and in your name, if we cannot confirm it another way.
For larger amounts only.
Chosen from a list when you send. A moment, not an interview.
The app is how the service is built, and it is where verification, quoting and tracking happen. If you would rather arrange a transfer in person, the office in the Financial District can help you set it up.
Because we are required to know who is sending money. Verification is a legal obligation for money services businesses, and doing it once in the app is what keeps later transfers quick.
It depends on the route and the destination. Mobile wallets are usually fastest, bank deposits depend on the receiving bank. The app gives an expected delivery time before you approve.
Open it in the app and message us from that transfer, so we already have the reference. Delays usually sit with an intermediary bank or payout partner and we will tell you which.
Only where the law requires it and with the payout partner handling your specific transfer. It is not sold or passed to advertisers.
Sign up, verify once, and send your first transfer the same day.
